Harry LubNow - president

Harry started the company over 25 years ago. He has WRT, ASD and HST certifications. He also started Harry Lubnow Custom Homes, which allows us to offer total loss rebuilds with a Tarion warrantied home.  Harry's core values are based on quality workmanship and happy customers.  He firmly believes he leaves his name on every project and expects to be proud of the product he delivers.  He has worked hard to instil those values on each and every employee in his company.  His genuine caring attitude toward his customer and his employees gives this company its strength and integrity.

Steve Lubnow - Operations Manager

Steve started with the company 14 years ago as a general labourer. Harry wanted Steve to learn the tools of the trade before he was able to move into an estimating role, which he eventually did.  Now Steve oversee's all the project managers and the jobs to make sure they stay on track and on time. Steve has many certifications such as: WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT, OCT, CCT, HST, RRT, JWR, CDS & MWR certifications. He brings the same core values as Harry does to the company and takes pride in his work.

Peter Kielstra - Senior Rebuild Project Manager

Peter brings an extensive back ground in residential and commercial construction. The son of an area home builder, Peter practically grew up on construction sites. Some of the projects he worked on have been recognized provincially and nationally through the Home Builders Association. Prior to working with Lubnow Restoration, he was customer service manager for a building manufacturer. He is a long-time resident of St. Thomas who still enjoys hockey in the winter and golf in the summer. Over the years, Peter has been involved with his community including terms as president of the Elgin St. Thomas Home Builders Assoc. and Chairman of the St. Thomas and District Chamber of Commerce. Peter is currently a member in good standing with the IICRC and is certified in WRT, ASD and AMRT. He also has training in asbestos removal.  Lubnow Restoration has provided him a continuance of extensive experience in project management rooted in customer service excellence.

JP Woodburn – Rebuild Project Manager

Equipped with a Construction Engineering diploma, J.P. Woodburn started his career in London as a house framer.  Moving to Ottawa to build his own homes and working with some of the largest homebuilders there (as a senior site supervisor)  J.P. ultimately oversaw hundreds of homes being built. By working closely with new home owners and many sub trades he was bestowed the J.D. Power Award for customer satisfaction. Now, as a project manager for Lubnow, J.P. enjoys the restoration industry and continues to learn and gain accreditations from the IICRC in the specialized fields of WRT, ASD and AMRT. Total fire losses and large projects under J.P.’s homebuilding and Tarion experience are well managed. In his free time, J.P. enjoys travelling and he’s particularly proud of his two little girls.  An avid outdoorsman, he can also be found playing golf, beach volleyball, scuba diving and cheering on his favourite sports teams.

Lisa Kennedy - Emergency Project Manager

Lisa’s career in insurance restoration began in the late 80’s as in house project coordinator with an area contractor.  Within a few years she moved into the role of project manager. Lisa has been an active member of The London Insurance Professionals Association for over 10 years and has worked with the victim services board. A member in good standing with the IICRC, and certified in WRT, ASD, AMRT, FRT and OSD, she also became a Bio Recovery Technician. In her free time Lisa enjoys skiing and spending quality time with her two children.

 Mike Babinsky - Emergency Project Manager

Mike entered into the construction industry after graduating high school with honours, during which time he took a Blue Print Reading Course, Cost Estimating Course and a Quantity Surverying Course. From there he went into the equipment rental industry for ten years starting as a delivery driver and performing various positions and finishing as an inside sales representitive. Mike has been with Lubnow Restoration for the past five years, first as a carpenter in training, then to a Lead Carpenter and now as an Emergency Project Manager. During his time with the company, he acquired his Applied Structural Drying, Applied Microbial Remediation and Water Damage Restoration certificates. He is also currently enrolled int he Project Management Certification Program at Fanshawe. Mike is our newest Project Manager. 

Tracy Blair - Content Division Team Leader

Tracy has been in the insurance industry for over 20 years,15 of those years were with State Farm working in the London claims office in both the auto and property departments. Then after that, she worked for 5 years with The Claim's Network assessing and evaluating claims contents. Tracy brings her experience, knowledge and enthusiasm with her as she works with the management group to take the contents division to new heights. She enjoys watching her two girls play regional and provincial soccer and hopes to travel more one day.

Terri Lubnow - Human Resources Specialist, Terri uses her Honour's degree in Social Science from UWO and Fanshawe College Diploma in Human Resources to establish principles and practices necessary in creating and maintaining an effective and safe workforce. Her past experiences in office administration also allow her to be effective in managing the finances in consultation with Price Waterhouse Coopers and an outside consultant. Terri is in the process of obtaining her CHRP and has passed her NKE.

Kristin Kittmer - Operations Coordinator, Kristin uses her Georgian College Diploma in Business Marketing to effectively provide marketing and advertising support and assistance to the Operations Manager.  She also looks after the internal and external programs needed to effectively run the company.

Linda Tran - Office Administrator, Linda uses her Fanshawe College Diploma in Human Resources to help aid the Human Resources Specialist with every day HR duties. She's also a vital part of the company as she directs people to the correct contact at the office as well as being the face of the company to anyone who enters the building.
